This engine is still using a 5-speed manual gearbox.

It is a 4.0-liter V6 that delivers 265 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of twist. Because of Frontier availability across the whole planet, some markets will surely get a diesel option as well.

2020 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X

Nissan also plans to continue with rivaling high-performance models such as Chevy Colorado ZR2 or Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. The 2020 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X will also arrive once again. This time, Nissan plans to beat its archest rivals. For that reason, we can expect further improvements in this version too. Frontier Pro-4X will offer a standard 4WD system.

Also, this high-performance pickup truck will gain new wheels, shock absorbers, and new suspension. Exterior will gain more aggressiveness and it will look sportier than ever before. This variant is also using a 4.0-liter V6. However, Pro-4X will produce more power, over 300 hp. However, we should wait for the exact specs and more official details.

Price and Release Date

The all-new 2020 Nissan Frontier will surely cost more than the current model. It makes perfect sense because Nissan delivered a complete redesign and further improvements. For that reason, new Frontier will start at $30,000. Company’s newest model will hit the markets in the last quarter of 2019.
