2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Engine Specs

Under the hood, this full-size high-performance pickup truck will once again offer the same V8 powertrain. A 5.7-liter V8 produces 380 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration is good but fuel economy isn’t. Whatsoever, this engine is rated at 15 mpg combined only. Yes we know, high-performance versions are not focused on fuel efficiency but those figures are abysmal.

Moreover, we heard so many complains from the customers about this aging unit. The biggest issue is fuel economy and lack of systems such as direct fuel injection. A 6-speed automatic transmission is another issue that will be a carryover for 2020. The customers can choose between RWD and 4WD systems.
