As you may know, the aging 5.0-liter mill will be replaced with the new 4.8-liter V8 engine, and some rumors are circulated that Blue Oval may introduce the new electric and hybrid system. F-150 Raptor will be also offered at the same time as the standard model. This high-performance off-road pickup is powered by a powerful 7.0-liter DOHC V8 that generates 410 HP and 435 lb-ft of torque.

2021 Chevy Colorado
The next big thing will be the upcoming 2021 Chevy Colorado. The previous generation is redesigned, and the manufacturer presented a whole new look that will also be part of a new model. We must say that this pickup truck is one of the most attractive and one of the most affordable on the market. It provides a very competitive and robust design, followed by a great arranged cabin and latest techs. It also comes with various configurations, and there are four engines available to choose from.
The first engine that powers this pickup truck is a new 2.7-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit that produces an amazing output of 310 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque. Other three engine is carried over from the previous model. 2.5-liter four-cylinder power the base model, and it produces 200 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, while two optional engines include 3.6-liter V6 that delivers 308 horses and 275 lb-ft of twist and 2.8-liter Duramax engine that produces 180 HP and 370 lb-ft of torque.
The price of this middle-size pickup will be slightly higher than before. According to some websites, this pickup truck will start at $22,500.

2021 Ram 1500
The new 2021 Ram 1500 will introduce plenty of refreshments for the following year. This pickup truck will be redesigned, and the manufacturer will make it more competitive. Besides exterior changes, the new model will also get a restyled cabin.
Furthermore, this pickup truck provides one of the best interior stylings in the mid-size segment. Also, it offers a quiet cabin, comfortable seats and excellent cargo space. The standard model includes Uconnect infotainment and standard 8-inch displays. However, more luxury will be available on upper trims, and the main highlight is the new 12-inch screen system.
As before, under the hood is lying down a standard 3.6-liter V6 that cranks out 305 hp and 270 lb-ft of twist. If this is not enough for you, there is a more powerful 5.7-liter V8 as an optional engine. This powertrain generates 395 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel variant will be also available, and this engine makes 260 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. 2021 Toyota Tacoma
The 2021 Toyota Tacoma is our choice, and one of the best-looking pickup trucks nowadays. This compact pickup truck shares the same F1 platform with a new Toyota Tundra. However, Tacoma provides a unique design and high towing capacity. According to some rumors, the upcoming model will look even more aggressive than before. The manufacturer will add an all-new grille and set of LED headlights. Also, Toyota’s TRD variant is confirmed, and we can expect excellent off-road capability with this one. The 2021 Toyota Tacoma is the model that offers exceptional comfort inside. It comes with two rows of seats and rooms for five occupants. Tech was updated last year, and we can expect the new 8-inch touchscreen to be in the offer as standard.
This mid-size pickup should largely remain the same as before in terms of engine options. The first option is a 2.7-liter powertrain that produces 160 hp. On top of that, there will be two optional powertrains, a 3.5-liter V6 that generates up to 280 horsepower and the 2.8-liter diesel that deliver 195 horses and 350 lb-ft of torque. Current Tacoma tows up to 7,000 pounds, and we can expect even better numbers with the new one model. Toyota’s latest mid-size pickup truck will start at around $26,000 for the base model, while upper trim levels cost from $40,000 and above.

2021 Jeep Gladiator
The last one pickup truck on our list of the 2021 Best Upcoming Pickup Trucks is the mighty 2021 Jeep Gladiator. This pickup truck has an excellently written history. The first model starts production in late 1962 and finishes its creation in 1988. Last year Jeep manufacturer decided to bring back this model and make it even more popular than before. According to the new spy shots, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator will offer many improvements. It is based on the popular Wrangler, and it also borrows some cues from this SUV.
However, the design of the Gladiator is excellent, and thanks to the higher ground clearance, this pickup is capable of fording water up to 30 inches deep. Gladiator Rubicon provides even a sportier look. This model will come with bigger tires and a more aggressive approach.
Under the hood, the same engine that powers Wrangler is used on the newest Gladiator. This pickup consist of a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The second engine is a new diesel 3.0-liter six-cylinder that makes 260 horses and 445 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to both reliable engines, Gladiator pickup can tow almost 7,700 pounds. The Jeep Gladiator is also affordable, and it starts at $31,000.
