This powertrain is producing up to 355 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. A 6.2-liter V8 is optional engine that returns 420 horses and 460 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine is available. It is another optional unit. However, diesel specs are yet to be announced.
A hybrid variant is another possibility for the 2021 Silverado. GM plans to deploy its standard gasoline V6 with two electric motors and the battery pack. Total output will be rated at almost 400 horsepower and over 350 lb-ft of torque. But more importantly, Silverado Hybrid will offer high mileage. According to some reports, hybrid version will offer over 28 mpg combined. As before, the Silverado is able can tow 13,400 pounds.
