The manufacturer confirms that 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 will arrive later this year. If you didn’t know, ZR2 is an off-road pickup truck that is based on the Colorado model. Basically, this is a pimped up version that is made to eliminate the toughest terrains. Besides, ZR2 will continue to offer very excellent comfort inside and numerous systems such as traction control. Also, ZR2 uses the relatively same valve shock absorbers as Formula 1.
The new ZR2 looks aggressive and it offers plenty of power. This model uses a 3.6-liter V6 powertrain that produces 305 horses and 275 lb-ft of torque. However, if you are seeking for something even wilder, the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison variant is available as well.

As you probably know, this engine is offering a variable valve timing and it uses a direct fuel injection system. Of course, power is sent through the same 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The second option is a 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel powertrain. This mill delivers 180 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque and is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
