Jumping to the LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, High Country models, customers will get the same engine as the previous, the only difference is an 8-speed automatic gearbox. However, choosing LT Trail Boss or High Country will add 10-speed automatic transmission. Optional in LT, RST, LTZ, High Country models, the buyer can get a 3.0-liter turbo diesel inline-6 that crunks 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This version will also use the latest 10-speed automatic. The last one is optional on trim levels like RST, Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. This engine consists of a 6.2-liter V8 w/Dynamic Fuel Management w/10-speed automatic and it delivers 420 horsepower. As you can see, there will be plenty of options to go for.
Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the new pickup truck that will be redesigned for the following year. According to the latest reports, this work truck will start at $28,300. However, fully loaded, this model can easily pass the $70,000 mark. A new mid-size pickup truck will go on sale later this year, probably in the second half of 2020.
