The brand-new 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition is heading to the markets. This particular variant was previously available four years ago. It is a camouflage-accented pickup truck that will hit the dealerships this summer.
However, Chevy didn’t reveal all of the details yet, including the price. From what we know, this edition will use two engine options. A 5.3-liter and a larger 6.2-liter V8. Moreover, there will be two gearbox choices, as well. The highlight of this model is the exterior design. More precisely, Realtree Edition will wear a unique pattern in combination with blacked-out features. Let’s take a closer look.
2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition Design Look
The upcoming 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition is one very unique pickup truck. It comes with a distinctive design that definitely looks better than the regular Silverado model. Interestingly, you can buy this edition exclusively in a Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss form. The front part is finished in a forest-themed camouflage. Moreover, such a styling cue perfectly outlines the truck’s performance.
On top of that, a power bulge fits perfectly on the hood. This pattern is also present in the back of the truck. The rear fenders are slightly different and Realtree’s logo has been integrated into the bedliner. Chevrolet will also add plenty of black badging, side steps and black exhaust tips. Lastly, Realtree Edition will offer a special 20-inch wheels wrapped in mud-terrain tires.
A similar story continues on the inside. The 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition will provide a more upscale cabin design than the regular Silverado. However, the changes aren’t significant at all. Whatsoever, those camouflage patterns are featured on the door panels only. Besides that, you shouldn’t expect so many upgrades.
However, this pattern is enough to change the feeling inside the new Realtree Edition. As for the rest of the interior, this model will remain very comfortable and practical. There will be a lot of optional equipment, so this variant will be easy to customize. Chevy will also provide the latest version of the infotainment system and its newly reshaped center console.
As we said, the new 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition will be mechanically the same as the Custom Trail Boss version. That includes a 5.3-liter V8 that produces 355 horsepower. A 6-speed automatic transmission is mated to this engine that is available as standard. Optionally, Chevrolet offers a larger 6.2-liter V8.
This powertrain is capable of producing up to 420 hp. It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and it adds a small suspension lift. Moreover, Chevy will provide Rancho off-road-tuned shocks, skid plates, and electronic locking differential.
2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition Release Date and Price
A camouflage-accented pickup truck will become available this summer. However, no one knows the price of the Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition, yet.
Chevy is remaining silent on this topic for quite a time now. Still, Silverado Trail Boss 1500 is available for $40,000. For that reason, you can expect for Realtree Edition to start slightly over that.
