2021 Chevy Silverado Redline Is Not Just a Concept

GM’s automaker was reported that it is currently working on the new 2021 Chevy Silverado Redline alongside the Z71 Sport Concept. As you may have already known, both concepts were introduced at the 2019 SEMA show. According to manufacturers, both models will arrive sometime in 2021.

The Redline is not a new package. This package is also available on some models like the Camaro, Blazer, Colorado, Equinox, Traverse, and Trax. In the past, the Cruze and Malibu models are also offered with the Redline package. However, this package has been discontinued on the Malibu, while the Cruze model is no longer in production.

The concept 2021 Chevy Silverado Redline that is showed at the 2019 SEMA Show took much hype among those present. This model is based on the RST trim and it shares many cues with it. The main weapon of this pickup truck is rocking body-color front and rear bumpers, LED fog lamps, LED lighting for the cargo area, and a power tailgate. Like the many models that wear the Redline package, the upcoming Silverado Redline comes with a new black grille that stretches along connecting the headlamp housings.

Moving on to the side, the latest 2021 Silverado Redline continues to offers a more red accent. We can see wing mirrors, black door handles, and black four-inch tubular side steps, along with badging on the fenders painted in a black script with a red outline. Also, the stylish 20-inch black wheels with the trademark red striping come standard. On the back, the new 2021 Chevy Silverado Redline continues to dominate with the black trapezoidal dual exhaust tips and the Silverado badging on the tailgate.

More Red Accents Inside

Unlike the base model, the new 2021 Chevy Silverado Redline will only host upscale materials. Compared to the standard model, the Redline package will bring more red accents. So, we can see the red leather stitches and other red accents throughout the truck.

Besides this engine, the RST also offers an optional one, that consists of a 6.2-liter V8. This model crunks out 420 horsepower at 460 lb-ft of torque and it uses w/Dynamic Fuel Management w/10-speed automatic transmission. As we already mentioned, the new Redline model is based on the Silverado 1500 RST and thanks to that, we can assume its price. The Silverado 1500 RST is a pickup that starts at ($40,395), so the new Redline will be in the same range.
