A few weeks ago, we saw the new images on many websites that show the latest Mobi pickup. However, it turns out that the caught model is precisely the forthcoming 2021 Fiat Strada. From the images that are shared, the Strada provides boxy shape, and it features similar styling as the famous and more significant Toro truck.
According to the manufacturer, the new model will be available with a potent engine and it will arrive later this year. Besides its design that looks similar to the Toro model, the Strada also wears the “Ram 700” name in Brazil and it will be a very affordable pickup.
2021 Fiat Strada Design
The newest 2021 Fiat Strada spy photos are available and many websites mixed up this model with the upcoming Mobi pickup. Design-wise, this small pickup will share many cues with the size-up Toro truck and forthcoming Fullback Fiat models. A prototype that is caught wears a more prominent grille, and we can see a “FIAT” lettering in the middle.
On top of that, the sleek LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights are integrated as the standard equipment. Generally, we like Strada`s refreshed front fascia more than before. According to the Fiat manufacturer, the new model will be available with modern exterior paints such as Red Alpine and Black Vulcano.
Unfortunately, no interior photos are available at this moment. However, from some gossip, we can expect a good arranged and stylish cabin. The upcoming 2021 Fiat Strada will surely borrow some features from models like Toro and Fullback. Moreover, both models are practical and driver-oriented. Besides that, we can expect the same layouts and two rows of seats with plenty of headroom. Like the models mentioned above, this small pickup will offer a spacious cabin for five occupants.
Basically, the cabin will provide a standard look and don’t expect anything futuristic inside. Comfort will be reliable on the standard model and buyers will get plenty of optional features to choose. For example, one can get leather upholstery and more techs inside additionally.
There is no exact information that will be used under the new 2021 Fiat Strada. From many speculations, the upcoming model will use a 1.4-liter gasoline engine as a standard option. The MultiJet diesel engine will also be available and from some gossip, it will provide 95 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain will be connected to a standard five-speed manual gearbox. The next one that is also rumored is a 1.3-liter turbo gasoline engine. However, we don’t know how much power it will produce, but it will be for sure more than the standard engine.
On top of that, Strada could also arrive in Europe. So, we can expect more engines to be available. The most likely candidate for Europe is a 1.0-liter turbo-four gasoline engine that is also available on some Fiats models.
2021 Fiat Strada Price and Release Date
The new 2021 Fiat Strada is the pickup truck that has a strong connection with the Toro model. However, both models offer boxy shape and both ones share many cues. According to the latest news, the Fiat Strada won’t arrive in the United States, it will be only available to South American markets. Furthermore, the sales of this model will start this summer.
The price is not yet available, but if we look at the models like Toro or Fullback, the price will inevitably be around $15,000. However, going to the range-topping Adventure trim price will jump to $20,000.
