The upcoming 2021 Ford F-150 FX4 is bringing more features with a slight price increase. Compared to the outgoing model that costs an additional $905, the new model will get more equipment for a reasonable price of $1,005. Alongside plenty of equipment, it will also include an electronic-locking rear differential and off-road-tuned shock absorbers. As you can see, this package is affordable, given the equipment it offers.
Perhaps the most significant update is the Rock Crawl system. Thanks to it, Ford F-150 comes with optimizing throttle calibration and transmission calibration. Rock Crawl driving mode is just one of the eight 4×4 options that will be on the offer. No doubt, with this package, F-150 will offer the best off-roading experience so far. Blue Oval’s full-size pickup truck, 2021 Ford F-150 FX4, will use the same military-grade aluminum body as the regular one. Basically, we expect to see a stitched FX4 logo bellow the headrest, on the headrest, and upholstery. Like the regular model, the new one will feature the same Sync 3 infotainment system, an 8-inch touch screen, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Hill-start Assist and Trailer Sway Control are standard as the Adaptive Cruise Control and Curve Control.

2021 Ford F-150 FX4 Engine Specs
Speaking of powertrains, the upcoming 2021 Ford F-150 FX4 will be available with four engine variants. The most potent is a 5.0-liter V8 that delivers 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The second engine also powers the Raptor model, and it consists of a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 capable of producing 450 horsepower.
Turbodiesel V6 is also on the offers, as the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. Four-wheel drive is included in the FX4 package, and it increases the F-150’s off-road capacity. Entry models come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission, while the upper ones deploy a new 10-speed automatic.

Price and Release Date
The new 2021 Ford F-150 FX4 off-road package will add a much better ability to this pickup. According to Blue Oval, the off-road package will cost you an additional $1,005, which is still more than affordable.
It is a bit pricier for around $100 than before. The sales of the regular models alongside this package can be expected in the last quarter of 2020.
