The first powertrain will power the base model and it will use a 6.2-liter V8 that cranks out 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. This gasoline engine will use a heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission.

The next one is the newly 7.3-liter V8 engine that is developing 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the base model, this one will use a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

Finally, the most stronger is a 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 engine that also hosts 10-speed automatic transmission. This model will deliver 450 horsepower and never seen before 1,050 lb-ft of torque. It is around 125 lb-ft more than the previous-gen engine. The rear-wheel-drive system is the default configuration, while 4-wheel drive (4WD) is optional on the base model. Towing is one of the best in the class and with gooseneck hitch, this truck is able to tow a maximum of 34,000 pounds.
