2021 Ford Ranger Raptor Exterior Design
The design outside is fantastic. The new 2021 Ranger Raptor will provide more muscular design. The front still dominates thanks to LED fog lamps with air-curtain ducts that enhance aerodynamics and the frame-mounted bumper that makes imposing stance. On the back, the new tailgate system features an integrated bumper and a uniquely-styled tow bar. 3D badging is still present on the same spot. The platform of this pickup is reliable and is strengthened with High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steel.
The Ranger Raptor body delivers maximum toughness and high-spec performance. Off-roading is best in the class, and the manufacturer will use a 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires as standard.
Interior Spied
The cabin of the newest 2021 Ford Ranger Raptor model will be unique, and it will differ in many things from the base model. The entire cabin looks modern and the best part is specialized seats with the famous Raptor decal stitched in the middle. The 8-inch color touchscreen is more intuitive as the new multi-view satellite navigation. Standard features include the SYNC infotainment system, AppleCarPlay, and Android Auto so that you can use your favorite apps on the go.
Engine Specs
The upcoming Ranger will use a new Ford powertrain technology. Under the hood of 2021 Ford Ranger Raptor is a Turbocharged 2.0-Liter Four-Cylinder Diesel that is made for the EU market. However, this powertrain has been carefully calibrated with the latest 10-speed auto transmission. This engine produces only 213 hp vs. 270hp that provides a base USA model.
The same 10-speed automatic gearbox is also seen on the new F-150 Raptor and some of Mustang models. According to some gossip, the Ranger Raptor for the US market will be equipped with more than one engine option. Because of the additional focus on off-road equipment, the towing of the Ranger Raptor has been drop slightly to 5500 lbs.
2021 Ford Ranger Raptor Release Date and Price
The release date of the new Ford Ranger Raptor will be in the summer of 2020. To conclude, the new model will get some refreshed and the most disappointing thing is the EU version that delivers only 213 horses. Even the base US model is stronger with its 270 hp. Like the previous model, the new 2021 Ford Ranger Raptor will start at $39,000 for the XLT base model.
