2021 Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition Orders Are Starting This Month

The new 2021 Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition Pickup has been introduced recently, and it comes with two fabulous military shades. According to Ram, this military special-edition pickup truck will be made in just 1,000 copies of each color. If you didn’t know, Built To Serve pickup is meant to represent the five United States armed forces.

Unlike the regular Ram 1500, the Built to Serve Edition features more attractive styling. Basically, it comes with black accents on the grille, bumpers, bezels, side steps, and exhaust tips. On top of that, these details are finalized by the unique 20-inch aluminum wheels and body-color wheel flares. Like before, Built to Serve Edition is available in any Ram 1500 cab, bed, and powertrain configuration.

The military-inspired pickup truck 2021 Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition is one of the attractive trucks we saw. Unlike the regular Ram 1500, the Built to Serve Edition comes with plenty of black accents, giving this truck unique styling. Basically, one can found black accents on the grille, bezels, side steps, bumpers, and exhaust tips.

On top of that, this model also includes unique 20-inch aluminum wheels, U.S. flag badges, and a “Built To Serve” decal on the rear quarter panels. On the other hand, Ram also reveals that this Edition will be available in two new colors, Tank and Flame Red.

Interior Upgrades

Like the exterior, the Built to Serve Edition interior will be stylish with many black accents. Generally, don’t expect any technology updates because this version only hosts some small visual improvements.

Unlike the regular pickup, this special edition host more comfortable seats with Medium Graystone accent stitching. Moreover, the same layout is present and like the regular truck, it can host five passengers comfortably. Overall, the design inside is unique and is adapted to this Edition.

2021 Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition Powertrain Specs

The new Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition will be available with any cab, bed, and powertrain configuration. That means it can be get with four-engine options.

The first engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 305 horsepower. This engine is a great choice, but a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is even better if you are looking for a more efficient drivetrain. However, if you’re looking for something more powerful, the 5.7-liter V8 is the best. This engine produces 395 horsepower, and it uses a mild-hybrid system with a 48-volt battery pack and a motor-generator.

The last and the most potent engine is under the Ram 1500 TRX. It is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 delivering a fantastic output of 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. According to the manufacturer, TRX can run from still to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

Release Date and Price

Ram recently revealed the new Built to Serve Edition with great colors. The upcoming Ram 1500 Built to Serve Edition should be open this month, with production to start in early 2021.

The production will start in Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, located just north of Detroit. Pricing has not yet revealed, but we can expect it to be soon.
