The next-gen 2021 Ram 1500 is spied testing, and it will be facelifted. Thanks to some spy photos, we can even see that more changes are forthcoming. The new model looks even more significant than the old one. Also, as for the latest report, the 2021 Ram 1500 will sit on a lighter platform, and it will be around 220 pounds lighter than its predecessor. As before, this pickup provides unique styling and improved aerodynamics. The front of this pickup will get the most design impact. Crosshair grille is not available anymore and is replaced with a new six-sided grille that wears large RAM lettering in the middle and some chrome around.
On top of that, the manufacturer will also introduce more shaped LED headlights. We must say that we like this new design. Moreover, the rear-end will get a minor upgrade. Most of the changes are visible on the taillights that look wider, and the bumper that is more aggressive. 16-inch wheels are standard, while 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels are still optional.
Interior Upgrades
The cabin of the Ram 1500 is one of the best in the full-size segment. Generally, we can even expect interior enhancements and updates similar to what we’ve seen in the new Dodge Durango SUV. The upcoming 2021 1500 will get plenty of changes that will make its cabin fresh and modern. Crew cab model offers spacious and quiet cabin, exceedingly comfortable seats, and excellent cargo space.
The base trim offers cloth seats, Uconnect infotainment, and standard 8-inch displays. However, more luxury will be available on upper trims and buyers may get a bigger 12-inch screen, better quality materials, and more safety.
Powertrain
As before, the 2021 Ram 1500 will be provided with a few engine options, and one of them will be a new hybrid powertrain. The standard model will come with a 3.6-liter V6 that cranks out 305 hp and 270 lb-ft of twist.

The upcoming 2021 Ram 1500 may also get a hybrid powertrain as per rumors. This version will combine a 3.6-liter V6 engine and an electric motor that will able to add 90 hp and 130 lb-ft of torque. 2021 Ram 1500 Price and Release Date
