The iconic pickup truck Ram 1500 will once again introduce plenty of refreshments. The full-size pickup truck segment is growing, and the famous 2021 Ram 1500 will try to keep up with rivals. Furthermore, the all-new model will be redesigned, and it will look better than before. Additionally, the next-generation model will be more aggressive. So, we can expect many visual upgrades and a restyled cabin.

On top of all the above, 1500 pickup will get a new powertrain. According to some speculations, the manufacturer may use the new hybrid system. Alongside the hybrid option, the Ram will continue to offer the same engines as before. However, some changes will happen, and we can even expect better fuel efficiency.

2021 Ram 1500 Design

The next-gen 2021 Ram 1500 is spied testing, and it will be facelifted. Thanks to some spy photos, we can even see that more changes are forthcoming. The new model looks even more significant than the old one. Also, as for the latest report, the 2021 Ram 1500 will sit on a lighter platform, and it will be around 220 pounds lighter than its predecessor. As before, this pickup provides unique styling and improved aerodynamics. The front of this pickup will get the most design impact. Crosshair grille is not available anymore and is replaced with a new six-sided grille that wears large RAM lettering in the middle and some chrome around.

On top of that, the manufacturer will also introduce more shaped LED headlights. We must say that we like this new design. Moreover, the rear-end will get a minor upgrade. Most of the changes are visible on the taillights that look wider, and the bumper that is more aggressive. 16-inch wheels are standard, while 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels are still optional.

Interior Upgrades

The cabin of the Ram 1500 is one of the best in the full-size segment. Generally, we can even expect interior enhancements and updates similar to what we’ve seen in the new Dodge Durango SUV. The upcoming 2021 1500 will get plenty of changes that will make its cabin fresh and modern. Crew cab model offers spacious and quiet cabin, exceedingly comfortable seats, and excellent cargo space.

The base trim offers cloth seats, Uconnect infotainment, and standard 8-inch displays. However, more luxury will be available on upper trims and buyers may get a bigger 12-inch screen, better quality materials, and more safety.


As before, the 2021 Ram 1500 will be provided with a few engine options, and one of them will be a new hybrid powertrain. The standard model will come with a 3.6-liter V6 that cranks out 305 hp and 270 lb-ft of twist.

Furthermore, the manufacturer will also use a 5.7-liter V8 as an optional engine. This powertrain generates 395 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel variant will be once again available. This diesel engine delivers 260 hp, and it provides 440 lb-ft of torque.

Hybrid Rumors

The upcoming 2021 Ram 1500 may also get a hybrid powertrain as per rumors. This version will combine a 3.6-liter V6 engine and an electric motor that will able to add 90 hp and 130 lb-ft of torque. So, thanks to that, we can expect a hybrid variant to top around 400 horses. As you already know, hybrid powertrains are very fuel efficiency. So, we can expect impressive numbers.

The new pickup 2021 Ram 1500 will be redesigned and on top of that, the manufacturer may introduce a new hybrid system. Base Ram 1500 that comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine will cost $29,000, while the top range-topping model can easily reach $60,000 mark.

The forthcoming full-size pickup truck 2021 Ram 1500 will be available in 2020. Furthermore, at the same time, we can expect arriving of the hybrid version and mighty Ram Rebel TRX pickup.
