This engine will work in a combination with three electric motors and a battery pack.

AWD setup will be offered as standard and Tacoma Hybrid will provide around 310 horses. Moreover, this pickup will arrive with over 30 mpg combined. Toyota will also offer a diesel engine, so if you want to use this model for towing, a hybrid variant isn’t the best option. Still, if you are looking for fuel efficiency and standard AWD system, Tacoma Hybrid is a perfect choice.

Regular Tacoma pickup will now cost around $26,500. As for the 2021 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid, you can expect a price that starts at over $32,000. The Japanese manufacturer will release a new model in the second half of 2020. Moreover, a hybrid version will hit the markets shortly after that.
