The long-awaited 2021 Toyota Tundra Hybrid is finally confirmed for the following year. According to the latest news, the upcoming hybrid will get minor updates. The manufacturer will make some exciting refreshments to separate the hybrid model from the regular one.

On top of that, some changes and updates will happen inside as well. The full-size pickup truck offers numerous mechanic changes and an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission. For the record, the Ram 1500, Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F-150 pickups are in the same segment, and all of them provide more features than the Tundra model.

The infotainment system will be updated as some of the techs inside. Like the base model, the hybrid one will also offer the same standard equipment. It will include a 7-inch touch-screen system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto integration, a rearview camera, a 6-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, and a few USB ports.

The all-new 2021 Toyota Tundra well be equipped with a new twin-turbo engine. According to the latest rumors, this model will be powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 that also powers the Lexus LS500 model.

As we already mentioned, the Tundra pickup model underpins a new platform, and thanks to that we can assume some changes under the hood.

However, Tundra Hybrid is confirmed and this model will come with a twin-turbo V6 engine, electric motor and battery pack. According to some reports, this combination will be able to produce 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, all models will use the new 10-speed automatic gearbox.

2021 Toyota Tundra Hybrid Price and Debut

The upcoming 2021 Toyota Tundra Hybrid will be available with more features than the base model. Also, it will cost more than the regular gasoline model.

The price of the base will be $33,000, while the hybrid variant will cost a few thousand more or $40,000. The new 2021 Tundra Tundra hybrid will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2020.
