Tundra will continue to ride on its 5.7-liter V8. This engine produces up to 381 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. A 3.5-liter twin-turbo is the latest addition that also powers new Lexus LS500 model. An 8-speed automatic transmission will be offered as standard. However, new 10-speed automatic gearbox will be optional. For 2021, Toyota will look to provide better fuel efficiency. Besides that, there will be no mechanical changes under the hood.

Price and Release Date

New 2021 Toyota Tundra won’t arrive until late 2020. We still wait for Toyota to release official details about the upcoming truck. Surely, numerous upgrades will additionally raise the price. On the other hand, Tundra will now offer better ride, stronger performances and better efficiency. Base model will cost around $34,000. Tundra Hybrid will be priced at $40,000 and range-topping trim levels at over $50,000.
