The new 2022 Ford F-250 half-ton truck was spied a few days ago, wearing heavy camo. If you didn’t know, F-Series Super Duty encompasses the F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks. All models are work trucks that can be seen often at many worksites across the United States. Generally, there is no task that these trucks cannot do. They can handle tough towing demands and carry massive payloads thanks to their undoubtedly robust construction.
There are many heavy-duty competitors in the same segment that includes models from Chevrolet, GMC, Nissan, and Ram. However, Ford Super Duty has no competitors in the towing department. This truck can pull a maximum of 37,000 pounds when equipped appropriately.

2022 Ford F-250 Exterior
The upcoming 2022 Ford F-250 will introduce some small cosmetic upgrades. According to the first photos, the spied prototype looks proportionally the same, featuring a robust design. However, the front of this truck is definitively hiding some changes under the camouflage.
The all-new cut grille is in work, wearing more chrome accents. Also, the headlights look slimmer, resulting in incredibly modern styling. Moreover, as for the rear part, it will receive some small visual changes, and a new remote-operated power-locking tailgate.
Interior Improvements
The recently caught testing prototype of the upcoming 2022 Ford F-250 reveals some mild changes inside. Like before, all three Super Duty models are available as (regular, SuperCab and crew). Cabins of all of them are roomy and built for comfort. However, Ford F-250 has many benefits, and first of all, compact design. This model offers plenty of luxury and even more on upper trims. For example, the base model comes standard with heated, cooled, and massaging front seats with 10-way power adjustments.
However, more amenities can be found on cowboy-themed King Ranch, Platinum, and the top-of-the-line Limited versions. Basically, all models are available with the newest Sync 4 infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. This time, Blue Oval offers Wi-Fi connections for up to 10 devices, even on the base XL.

2022 Ford F-250 Engine Specs
The next-generation 2022 Ford F-250 will most likely use the same engine lineup as the predecessor. That means the 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine will be once more available, and we can expect the same output of 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. Ford says that some mechanical updates will happen and that we can expect better efficiency. Generally, this is the most potent gasoline powertrain in the heavy-duty segment. On top of that, it comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The diesel engine is available as well, and it consists of an updated 6.7-liter PowerStroke that delivers up to 450 horsepower and fantastic torque of 1050 lb-ft. Like before, the new F-250 remains to be a rear-wheel-drive truck.

Price and Release Date
The redesigned 2022 Ford F-250 will receive plenty of necessary upgrades. From the information that we got, the new model will start at around $36,500, which is an increase of around $1000 compared to the current one. Of course, upper trims offer more features, and they cost more.
The range-topping models, such as Limited or Platinum, will easily reach $50,000. Blue Oval recently reveals that the Super Duty lineup of trucks will be introduced in late 2021.
