The spy photos of the next-gen 2022 Ford F250 just appeared on the web. At first glance, we can see that the upcoming model will hosts plenty of upgrades over the current one. The exterior will be visually better and we can expect the same story to happen inside. As you may know, the Ford F250 is the reliable super duty pickup truck that is powered by potent engines.
This model deploys three engine options. The most potent powertrain remains to be a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel V8 that delivers 450 horsepower and amazing torquing of 1,050 lb-ft of torque.
2022 Ford F250 Design
The exterior of the 2022 Ford F250 is modern and robust. This model is using one of the most reliable architecture on the market. In terms of design, the new 2022 Ford F250 looks refreshed with the sharply cut grille that uses more chrome around, slimmer headlights, and wider flared fenders.

2022 Ford F250 Powertrain Options
As we mentioned, the latest 2022 Ford F250 may keep the same line of engines under the hood. If you remember, this model offers three drivetrain options. The first powertrain is a 6.2-liter gasoline V8 that can produce 385 horsepower along with 430 lb-ft of torque. This engine is using a heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission.
The next one is 7.3-liter V8 gasoline with more output power 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Finally, the most potent option is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 that can cranks out a mighty 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Like the previous model, this one will also use a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the default system, while some variants may get a 4-wheel drive (4WD) as standard, but otherwise, it’s optional.
Release Date and Cost
The new 2022 F-250 will be stronger than before and it will arrive next year as 2022YM. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) will be the same and XL trim with the standard engine, regular cab, and the 8-foot bed is starting less than $34,000.
Ford also offers XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims. Whatsoever, in the same price range are models like Chevy Silverado HD2500/3500, GMC Sierra HD2500/HD3500, and the Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty.
