The redesigned version of the planetary famous Nissan Titan is on the way. The new half-ton version 2022 Nissan Titan has been spied testing, and the new set of images reveals substantial updates. However, most of the changes will happen inside. The manufacturer will finally add more standard equipment, including a 9.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
Unlike the current Titan, the new one will offer more comfort, and it will host plenty of quality materials. Unfortunately, under the hood, this model will deploy the same 5.6-liter V-8 that produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque as the only option.
2022 Nissan Titan Exterior Changes
The new 2022 Nissan Titan will use the same design theme as the “Powerful Warrior” model. Thanks to that, it offers a more distinct look. Nissan also reveals that the entry-level model Titan SL should include more shiny chrome materials. One can literally found it on the grille, mirrors, 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, door handles, exhaust tip, and on the side steps. However, more attractive styling is available choosing the Platinum Reserve model. This one features a more attractive satin chrome grille and a tailgate with satin-finish applique.
The most rugged model is Titan Pro-4X. This off-road-oriented truck comes with a blacked-out grille, red tow hooks, and black tailgate applique with red Nissan lettering. The Pro-4X also includes painted, dark-finish wheels.
The list of color pallet of 2022 Nissan Tritan includes Super Black, Cardinal Red Metallic, Baja Storm, Red Alert, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Pearl White TriCoat, Glacier White, and Deep Blue Pearl.
First Look Inside
The cabin of the new 2022 Nissan Titan will be more impressive for sure. Nissan confirms that the next generation will be more comfortable and will feature plenty of standard equipment. The manufacturer will most likely add new “Zero Gravity” front seats and more premium materials. Unfortunately, at this moment, we don’t a full image to confirms that.
The current model features many standard equipment types, including the Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety suite, automatic rear braking, and more. Interestingly, rumors spread around that the new Titan will feature a new infotainment screen of 9-inch that was exclusive last year on Pro-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve models. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto as the Nissan Connect system will be part of the standard package.
2022 Nissan Titan Under the Hood
Unlike the other models in class that feature two or three engine options, the new 2022 Nissan Titan will be offered with a singles one. Under the hood of this pickup is a potent 5.6-liter V-8 that delivers 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. This engine uses a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive as standard, while a 4×4 drive is optional.
The current model with the same machine is EPA city/highway fuel economy rated 16/22 mpg (4×2), 15/21 mpg (4×4). Moreover, rowing was increased last by about 100 pounds across the board. For example, the Titan King Cab that comes with 4×2 can handle a maximum tow of 9,370-pound.
