The 2022 VW Amarok is a mid-size pickup truck that will introduce some exterior and interior refreshments. Most of the changes will be visible on the front. Furthermore, the highlight of this model will be a new carbon fiber dash and supportive sport buckets rendered in white leather with red trim accents. The cabin also hosts a traditional design. The next-gen 2022 VW Amarok will be offered with two new engines The first one that powers this pickup truck will be a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that is also under the hood of the new Ranger model. Furthermore, this engine is also used on the F-150 pickup and it delivers 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The next one that comes as optional is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo TDI version.
Both engine variants will be connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission and the standard rear-wheel-drive configuration. Furthermore, the all-wheel-drive system is also available as an option. This system is ideal for off-roading. Whatsoever, the Amarok model with a stronger engine will run from 0 to 62 mph in 7.8 seconds.

The VW Amarok is a trendy pickup truck and is very popular. This model offers excellent styling and potent powertrain. Thanks to these changes, the new 2021 model will cost slightly more. The base model will start at $31,000, while the fully equipped model will reach a price of $50,000. New Amarok will be available to purchase sometime in 2021. Most of the rivals will be models such as Nissan Navara, Ford Ranger and Mercedes-Benz X-Class.
