The all-new 2023 Lordstown Endurance will arrive next year according to the latest news. If you didn’t know, this electric truck is being promoted as the first one that will enter the U.S. market. However, due to the pandemic situation and the shortage of a chip, the manufacturer decided to postpone this model for the following year.
Thanks to a new image that was revealed a few days ago, the Lordstown Endurance looks ready for production. According to the manufacturer, the upcoming truck will have a range of about 250 miles, producing 600 horsepower. Towing is also excellent, and it should be around 7500 pounds. Here’s what we know so far.

2023 Lordstown Endurance Exterior Design
As the first vehicle built by Lordstown, the Endurance looks pretty futuristic and unique. Thanks to recently released images, we have a clear look on how this truck will look like. First of all, the upcoming truck will be available with a medium-length bed and a Crew Cab variant will be available initially as per the latest report.
The front end of this truck dominates with a unique closed grille and LED headlights that are innovative. In addition, the manufacturer claims that the Endurance will provide sports-car-like handling and a vast number of wheels and tires.
Interior
Inside, the forthcoming 2023 Lordstown Endurance will look modern and unique. As far as we know, the new truck will be able to fit five occupants, offering great comfort. Generally speaking, we are certain that it will come with a large touchscreen infotainment system that will dominate the dashboard.
Since Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot are available on most of the Endurance rivals, we expect even more features on the upcoming truck. At this point, there is no word on what driver-assistance technology will be available. In general, we won’t be surprised if modern features such as automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and parking sensors come as standard.

2023 Lordstown Endurance Specs
The all-new 2023 Lordstown Endurance will be available with a futuristic hub-motor setup that will deliver more than 600 horsepower combined. The four-wheel-drive setup is standard and Endurance features four electric motors mounted directly on each of the truck’s wheels. On top of that, it will come with a very large battery under the floor, providing around 250 miles. It falls short compared to the R1T’s 400 miles and the Cybertruck’s 500 miles claim.
Lordstown also claim that the Endurance will be able to tow up to 6000 pounds, but they haven’t disclosed any details about its payload capacity. As you can see, the towing is pretty close to mid-size unibody pickups such as the Ridgeline and the Hyundai Santa Cruz.

2023 Lordstown Endurance Release Date, Price
The forthcoming 2023 Lordstown Endurance is an electric truck that will definitively dominate in its class. As far as we know, the manufacturer postponed this truck for the next year due to the pandemic situation. Overall, the Endurance will cost around $53,000, and it will undoubtedly lure a large number of buyers.
