In general, the most exciting news is that Triton will introduce a new PHEV system that should consist of a four-cylinder petrol engine, two electric motors, and a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The same system PHEV system would be installed on next-generation Mitsubishi cars and pickup trucks. We expect this model to debut sometime next year, probably in the second half of the year.

The upcoming 2023 Mitsubishi Triton will look bolder than before. This model is available in either a cab chassis or a regular ute with a tub and can be had in either Single Cab, Double Cab body styles.
In general, every model looks stylish, including the attractive grille, LED headlights, and more truck-like front fascia. Like before, the Triton truck will be available in few trim levels. Our favorite is the GSR variant that features many black accents. This model comes with a black grille, roof, 18-inch wheels, and so on.
On the inside, the forthcoming 2023 Mitsubishi Triton will receive some improvements in terms of quality and technology. Reportedly, it will gain a larger touchscreen, new upholstery, and more standard equipment.
However, we expect this model to be more extended than before, thanks to the new platform. So, the interior legroom will be slightly better, offering more comfort. In general, the new truck will provide a much smoother and quieter ride compared to its predecessor. Besides, a couple of upgrades in the safety department will make this truck safer than ever. Like the L200 model, the new Triton will be available with the latest Lane Departure Warning, Hill Start Assist, Trailer Stability Assist, and Automatic High beam.
