The all-new 2023 Ram 1500 EV will arrive sometime next year. According to Ram, the upcoming pickup truck will be powered exclusively by electricity. However, the manufacturer hasn’t said anything about how much the Ram 1500 EV will cost, what trim levels will be offered, or what equipment will come as standard or optional.
In general, if we compare this truck with the F-150 Lightning that should cost around $42k, we’d wager that the electric Ram 1500 will be around $45,000. From information that we collected, the forthcoming Ram EV could provide driving range of up to 500 miles, which is around 200 miles more than the F-150 Lightning.

2023 Ram 1500 EV Design
At this moment, we don’t know anything about the design of the 2023 Ram 1500 EV. However, the manufacturer recently teased this model, and it looks at first glance very sleek. As far as we can see, the manufacturer made a complete redesign of this variant compared to the regular one.
First of all, the front fascia is revised and now comes with a more attractive grille and unique lighting that are starched from one to the other side of the truck. We also noticed a new RAM lettering that is now glowing, resulting in more recognized look of the EV model. Unfortunately, that’s all that we know about this awesome truck.

Cabin Rumors
Like the regular 2023 Ram 1500, the EV model will be modern and roomy. We recommended going for the Quad Cab that offers seats for six occupants, with rear legroom of 34.7 inches. If you’re seeking more rear legroom, than the Crew Cab is an ideal choice with its 40.3 inches of legroom.
As for the technology, the upcoming Ram EV will for certain offer more equipment than the regular model. We expect the new and larger infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite/HD Radio, and more amenities on the upper trims.
2023 Ram 1500 EV Specs
Ram didn’t divulge any figures about the engine of the 2023 Ram 1500 EV. From what we know, the new truck will have a driving range of up to 500 miles, which is 200 miles longer than the F-150 Lightning. This truck with a DC fast charger will be able to charge at a rate of up to 150 kWh.
In addition, Ram promises that all-electric pickup truck will pull more than its EV competitors. That means we can expect it to pull more than the F-150 Lightning. This truck has a rate of maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, so expect the Ram’s new EV to exceed that.

2023 Ram 1500 EV Release Date and Price
The first all-electric version, the Ram 1500 EV, will reportedly arrive next year, likely in fall. According to Ram, the new truck will be powered by a very potent electric engine and battery that should provide at least 500 miles.
We also expect it to exceed Ford’s F-150 Lighting towing capacity of 10,000 pounds. Considering more powerful setup than the F-150 Lighting, we presume price of the EV model to be around $45,000.
