The new 2023 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition will bring many visual tweaks. As you probably know, the Ram 1500 TRX is the king in the segment and the most selling truck in the United States. Also, this model is one of the quickest, fastest and most powerful trucks ever built.
To continue that domination, the manufacturer will replace its Hellcat V-8-powered lineup with the all-new Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition. According to recent news, the forthcoming model will arrive at the dealer later this summer. With the Sandblast package equipped, this truck is everything but not cheap. It starts at $100,080 after destination charges.
2023 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition Design
On the cosmetic front, the 2023 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition will look way better than the original one. It’s worth noting that the new special edition is based on the TRX fitted with the Level 2 Equipment Group. Overall, the design is pretty great, and we like the new Mojave Sand exterior color in combination with some graphics.
Also, unlike the original version, the Sandblast Edition adds a more unique 18-inch beadlock capable wheels finished in black, bed step, and a cab-mounted brake light. As you can see, the manufacturer made some visual and hardware tweaks to give the Sandblast Edition model a more sportier look than the standard TRX.
More Sporty Cabin
Inside, the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition will receive a few extras compared to the original one. Furthermore, the cabin remains comfortable, and there is enough room for up to five passengers. We like every inch of this truck, especially new accent stitching, carbon fiber accents, a flat-bottom steering wheel with leather and carbon fiber, a unique center console badge, and a head-up display.
Like the TRX standard model, the new Sandblast Edition will come with the same list of electronic driver-assist features. It includes as standard adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
2023 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition Engine Specs
No single change was made to the powertrain of the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition. Under the hood is the powerful 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine that is known as the Hellcat.
The engine is tuned to deliver 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, while from 0-100 mph in 10.5 seconds. Also, it is worth noting that the TRX can hit the top speed of 118 mph when it wears 365/65R18 T-rated tires.

Unlike the original TRX 1500, the Sandblast Edition comes with a few visual tweaks. This model looks way attractive, and it’s offered with a unique color. The sales of the new variant should start this summer, and the Sandblast Edition is priced from $100,080, including a $1,795 destination charge.
At the moment, the TRX remains the pickup king, but a Ford F-150 Raptor R will likely dethrone it when it arrives later this year.
