The new leaked images of the 2023 Toyota Tundra, reveal many changes and upgrades on the upcoming truck. From the latest report, it seems that on the photos is an off-road-focused TRD Pro model. Interestingly, the new truck looks refreshed, featuring a much more attractive front fascia than its predecessor.
According to Toyota, the full-size Tundra pickup truck will debut later this year, with improved outside design and probably new cabin. 2023 Toyota Tundra First Look
The first leaked photos reveal that the next generation 2023 Toyota Tundra should be more attractive, especially the TRD Pro variant. If you didn’t follow us, the Japanese automaker gave a glimpse of the new truck’s grille last month, which looks much massive and bolder. Meantime, some of the new images appear as well, revealing the TRD Pro model.
First that we noticed on the TRD Pro model is the “Toyota” badge above an LED light strip that’s integrated into the attractive grille painted in black. On top of that, this truck is sitting on a set of black TRD Pro-specific wheels wrapped in all-terrain rubber. Also, there’s a black pattern surrounding the wheel arches, resulting in a more robust look. At the back, we also noticed a large debossed “TRD Pro” logo that’s stamped into the tailgate.
Interior Rumors
At this point, there is no news regarding the interior of this truck. From some rumors, the new Toyota Tundra will come with refreshed cabin, but we don’t expect any significant changes.
Of course, to stay competitive, the manufacturer will probably add more quality materials, and we should also expect more gadgets.
The current Tundra offers a very spacious cabin with many techs. It comes standardly with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, 7-inch infotainment touch screen, Bluetooth, USB port, auxiliary audio input, and 6-speaker sound system.
2023 Toyota Tundra Under the Hood
In terms of performance, the new 2023 Toyota Tundra will probably use some old and new engines. We expect the new truck to be powered by a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, providing great performances and even better fuel efficiency. However, there could also be a hybrid drivetrain because of the blue “MAX” lettering on the front fascia that was present on the leaked image.
The current-generation Tundra uses a 5.7-liter iForce V-8 engine, producing 381 hp and 401 pound-feet of torque. Whatever, the new Tundra should also come with a new rear suspension setup, ditching the old truck’s leaf springs. Moreover, there is also possibly od an independent rear suspension.

2023 Toyota Tundra Release Date and Price
The new 2023 Toyota Tundra will probably go on sale in the U.S. by the end of the following year. We believe that it will be fully unveiled in the first half of the next year.
