The best option is a crew-cab model with a 5.5-foot bed on the higher trims, which can match the Ram 1500’s deluxe cabin.
Ford used an updated 8.0-inch infotainment display as standard running on the latest Sync 4 software. Buyers can also get a much larger 12.0-inch unit on upper trims. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard, as is a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, SiriusXM radio, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system are optional.
2024 Ford F-150 Engine Specs
The 2024 Ford F-150 is available with several engines. The base model uses a 290-hp 3.3-liter V-6, while optional is a 400-hp 5.0-liter V-8; a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 producing 325-hp; a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 400-hp; and a 3.0-liter diesel V-6 with 250-hp.
In general, no matter which engine you choose, you will get a 10-speed automatic transmission. The F-150 is also available with a hybrid powertrain that should produce 400-hp hybrid powertrain thanks to a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, and 35 kW electric motor. All-electric Lightning is the pinnacle on offer, which makes 452 horsepower with standard setup or 580 horses with Extended-Range battery. Ford claims that the driving range of this model is 320 miles.
2024 Ford F-150 Price, Release Date
The new 2024 Ford F-150 is a pickup truck that’s available in six trims. The base one starts at $41,000, while the other one, XLT, costs $54,000, Lariat $69,000, XLT Extended Range $74,000, Lariat Extended Range at $79,000, and the most expensive Platinum Extended Range $92,000.
We must mention that the Pro model is now base with an attractive starting price, but it doesn’t offer many creature comforts as an upper trim. All mentioned models will be available for purchase sometime next year.
