The refreshed 2024 Toyota Tundra is coming, and it will introduce increased capabilities and a more dynamic, expressive look. Just like its smallest twin brother, the Tacoma, the new pickup truck will receive the same treatment. It wears a recognizable hexagonal grille, attractive headlights, and a body that’s chiseled and muscular. On top of that, the interior of the new Tundra has also been updated with better materials and technologies.
Unlike other full-size pickup rivals, the upcoming Tundra will come with a new powertrain option. Under the hood is a gasoline-powered 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 and a hybrid powertrain featuring the same twin-turbo V6 engine.

2024 Toyota Tundra Design
Unlike before, the 2024 Toyota Tundra, for the first time, wears a design that it deserved. It comes with all-new sheet metal, an aluminum hood, and a hexagonal grille flanked by slim-mount LED headlamps. We also noticed some changes at the rear as well, and the new pickup has a big “TUNDRA,” which is impressed into the tailgate.
The new model, according to Toyota, will be offered in two cab configurations. There should be Double Cab and CrewMax models, each with four doors. A Double Cab comes with a 6.5-foot bed or a new 8.1-foot bed, while Crew Max trucks feature a 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot bed.
Cabin Upgrades
The latest 2024 Toyota Tundra will be reportedly offered in Double Cab or CrewMax configurations. We recommended jumping into the CrewMax, which has tons of legroom and headroom, resulting in comfortable seating. On the technology front, the new Tundra comes with a wide horizontal dash and an 8-inch touchscreen as standard. It also includes a giant 14-inch center display.
We must note that a new 14-inch multimedia touchscreen also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moreover, with the Limited trim, you’ll get heated and ventilated front seats, while the 1794 Edition and the Platinum add heat and ventilated front and rear seats.

2024 Toyota Tundra Engine Specs
Unlike other rivals, the 2024 Toyota does not offer a V8 engine. Instead, the new truck is powered by a potent i-Force 3.5-liter V6, which offers more power and torque than the outgoing V8 powertrain. This unit produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It also uses a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard, just like the rear wheels, with all-wheel drive being optional.
According to Toyota, there should be an option for a new hybrid powertrain featuring the same twin-turbo V6 engine. Unfortunately, at the moment, we don’t know the exact figures but expect more details in the coming weeks.

2024 Toyota Tundra Price, Release Date
As far as we can tell, the most basic Toyota Tundra starts at less than $36,000, while Tundra SR is around $39,000. Tundra SR5 begins at $40,755, while the Limited models start at $46,850. Choosing the Platinum trim, the Tundra ranges from $57,000 to $60,500.
The most expensive is the Tundra 1794 Edition, which has a starting price of $58,000, and it can go up to $61,000. We’re hopefully expecting the new pickup truck to go on sale in the first quarter of 2023 as a 2024-year model.
